Container hosting

Hjallr runs on a kubernetes cluster which allows most containerized applications to deployed through your account dashboard. As a client you are be provided with your own namespace where a number of containers can run alongside and interact with each other. For example you may use a Content Management System and a backend service that both require access to a database to operate; all these applications can operate as independant containers running in your namespace. Sample configurations for some common applications can be found for quick and easy deployment.

For advanced application deployments we offer secure access to the kubernetes API to allow you to monitor and manage the state of your applications using a wide variety of tools. Applications with complex deployment requirements can be deployed via helm charts or Argo-CD Applications. Please reach out to our support if you have complex application requirements.

VPS hosting

Applications that are not or cannot be containerized can be run inside virtual machines, which can be managed like a traditional VPS. In order to provide a secure environment for your applications, Hjallr VPSs are not directly exposed to the open internet, saving you the trouble of managing firewalls, proxying web-servers and the like. Instead this access is managed through your client dashboard.

Private Gitlab git repositories

If your team uses git as part of its hosting workflow, we can provide private repositories with agent access to your running applications.

Object Storage

We provide S3-compatible object storage backed by our global Ceph cluster for your bulk data storage needs.
